SOME OF OUR TEAM BUILDING & EVENTS AT HAL’S KITCHEN
Hal’s Chefs’ Table
2-3 Hour Class Based On Client’s Needs.
Less hands-on, the guests will remain seated around the island, but will have opportunities to participate at times throughout class. Guests will be greeted with light snacks and a glass of wine. Guests will receive a hearty sampling of the menu items, copies of recipes, two glasses of wine with thier meal.
Traditional Style-Hands-On-Class
3-5 Hour Class.
(Limited to 12 students)
A class designed to build skill and focuses on techniques. An Introduction will be conducted, and guests will cook throughout class alongside the chef. The class is based on a customized menu determined by the event coordinator. For example, the class can be based on knife skills, pastry, bread making, etc. Price is determined by menu.
Mystery Basket:
3 Hour Class.
A fun challenge for the team who likes to think outside the box. Guests are divided into teams and given the same recipes as guides. Each team will prepare a 3-4 course meal using the mystery ingredients provided as well as pantry items. Guests will enjoy their 3-5 course meal, and then be judged on taste, incorporation of the mystery ingredient, and presentation.
Hal’s Kitchen Challenge
3 Hour Class.
Hands-on with a twist! The chef will conduct an introduction with the rules of the competition. Each team will be guided by the same recipes, but will be judged on taste, creativity, and presentation. We encourage teams to taste the competition’s dishes to create a lively discussion during the meal. Winners are announced during dessert.
Pay It Forward
3-5 Hour Class
Employ two strategies during one event. While preparing a delicious meal and working together, the guests will also create meals to give to a local shelter. Guests will be greeted with a light snack and glass of wine. An Introduction will be conducted, and guests will cook throughout class alongside the chef. A full meal is served, and the Hal’s Kitchen staff will package and deliver the meals on behalf of the company or group. Guests will receive copies of recipes and two complementary glasses of wine with the meal.
