We are making a delicious start to 2019 with Chef Naina Bhedwar of Kesar Kitchen. With her culinary heritage rooted in both the Parsi (Indo-Persian) and Punjabi communities of India, she brings her knowledge of these cuisines, as well as contemporary spins from living in Australia and the UK, and of course, Atlanta. Cooking With Your Valentine

Candy and Flowers last a short time, but experiences create lifelong memories. Make this Valentine’s Day memorable with a cooking class at Yes, Chef! by Hal’s Kitchen. This hands on class will be expertly wine paired for each course. The evening’s meal will feature Roasted Vidalia Onion Bisque with Fried Oyster Croutons, Baby Green Salad with Spring Peas, Hearts of Palm and Hazelnuts in a Champagne Vinaigrette, Braised Short Ribs with Jus, Honey and Turmeric Rainbow Carrots with Potato-Parsnip Mash. We will finish with Bananas Foster over Bourbon Sponge Cake, Chocolate Ganache and Chantilly. $130/person

Culinary Boot Camp: Healthy Boost

Sunday, February 24

Give your body and skills with learning techniques to making your meals healthier. You will be guided by Chef Einat Mazor, a seasoned professional in cooking healthy, delicious cuisine. In this class you will be learning how to select and work with seasonal produce and root vegetables, prepare nut-based sauces and soups, and create exciting dishes with fresh herbs, Mediterranean spices, and balancing flavors as well as the proper care and handling of the knife.

Taste of Colombia

Saturday, March 2

After much begging, Chef Juan Carlos is going to share the flavors of his native Pacific region of Colombia. This hands on class will start with Tostones (twice fried savory plantians) with Avocado Salad and Pickled Red Onions, followed by the main course of Stuffed Trout with Sofrito Ahogado with lemon and cilantro cooked in plantain leaves with Tomato Rice & Fried Yuca with garlic and lime aioli. Dessert with Obleas Wafers with Dulce de Leche, Cuajada (sweet cheese), and Guava Jelly. $89/person. Wine will be served with dinner.

Get out of that long line at the deli and into Yes, Chef! Culinary Events! Learn how to make a variety of bagels, gravlax, pickled tomatoes. The whole shmear for a delicious brunch! Tickets are $65 per person, and class runs from 1-4pm.

Southern Brunch

The best part of the weekend is brunch! Create some brunch favorites while enjoying Mimosas and a Bloody Mary Bar. Buttermilk Biscuits with quick, in season preserves, Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict with Braised Okra and Tomatoes, ending with Banana Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce. $75 per person, 21 years and older.
