Hal’s Kitchen is the brainchild of local cooking and entertaining expert, Cyndi Sterne. After years of leading wildly popular cooking classes for adults and children alike at the Marcus Jewish Community Center, Cyndi had the inspiration to open her own school and name it after her encouraging father, Hal.
Like any smart business owner, Cyndi knew that she could not do it alone, and began her quest for just the right person to compliment her skills and style. She thought back to the years that she had taken cooking classes throughout the Atlanta area. One instructor stood out among them all, Chef Jessica Ray. Soon after their initial meeting, it was clear they were a match made for success. Jessica’s knowledge, skill, and experience make her the perfect Director and Executive Chef for Hal’s Kitchen.
Cyndi and Chef Jessica share a fresh, modern approach to teaching cooking techniques and styles which begin with making people feel welcome during their entire experience at Hal’s Kitchen. The wide variety of classes is taught some by Sterne and Chef Jess, as well as some of the premiere chefs and professionals from Atlanta and the entire region. From demonstration classes to culinary boot camp, guests can learn to time the perfect dinner party, have a great girls’ night out, attend skill building hands on classes, or have the perfect date night.
“I want people to relax and enjoy the process of cooking,” states Sterne. “What I’ve experienced time and time again is the more fun you have in the kitchen, the better their dish turns out,” she concludes. Guests who are seeking an unprecedented cooking experience will find it at Hal’s Kitchen.
